Trump, like this Dutch Sinterklaas?
There’s Jan and Trudie, excitedly waiting for Sinterklaas whom they have invited to surprise their children Robje, 3, Katje,4, and Rudie (sorry), 5.
They live in a small village of just 1,800 inhabitants in Holland. Jan and Trudie searched the internet to find an affordable ‘Sinterklaas’ to visit them and personally hand the presents, that they had bought earlier in the week, to their kids. In Holland, Sinterklaas is a Spanish (don’t ask) bishop. An old catholic man with a long white beard who loves children (like all catholic bishops do) who arrives on a steamship every year a week or so before the festive Sinterklaas day of 5 December. On the night of 4-5 December he tours the roofs of all the houses and apartment blocks in the country on his white horse whilst he sends his black slaves (don’t ask) into the chimneys to drop either presents or ‘de roe’, some tied-up birchwood (I guess) twigs to hit the kids with if they hadn’t conformed to his expectations. As a special treat, this year Jan and Trudie thought a personal visit of the old white bearded man would be a great surprise. The kids would be afraid and excited of seeing the old white-bearded man up close with his mitre on his head and his sceptre in his hand. They will then have to sit on his lap, and some say that that’s the exciting moment for the ol’ bishop.
The moment has arived. And there he is now, sitting in the middle of the living room. The kids at his feet but at some respectful distance of the scruffy old guy, with a dented mitre mal-adjusted on his obvious wig, holding onto what looked like a yellow-plated broomstick as Robje, the youngest, started crying and yelling that this was not the real Sinterklaas. “His beard is false! He stinks of alcohol and where are his fukkin’ slaves?” he yells. At which point the impostor Sinterklaas takes out a gun and shoots Robbie dead.
Parents and their remaining children sit in shock, as fake Santa , gun in hand explains: “Now listen to me, I have seen this before. You invite me into your house to have a great evening all together, and then there is one who thinks he can ruin it for everyone. Believe you me, this kid would’ve ruined our evening. So ok, you may disagree with my methods, and we can go on about it, you say it’s wrong, I say it’s right and we will still ruin the evening and his death would be useless. So let’s agree to disagree. It’s in the past. There’s still 5 of us alive. Let us move on and have a nice evening!”.
Trump will pardon all his loyal supporters and himself like the murdering vengeful slaveholder Sinterklaas who represents a great kid’s party for millions of Dutch kids.
Trumps incompetence and neglicence has costed thousands of American lives. His inciting of his supporters to revolt against the election results have resulted in multiple death-threats and ate like to result in violence and more deaths. The American People are expected to accept it and not ruin the party, like Jan and Trudie.
