Hang-on, consequences…what’s that again?

The radical right, libertarians and the 'alternative medicine people' cannot handle the truth, but our democracies have become so "laissez faire", that we delay the consequences for their stupidity, until the pain caused by it, has to be shared by everyone: virus, plastic, climate, deforrestation, animal-processing industry, tobacco, alcohol, etc.

A 4 year old knows what needs to be done, but the self-interest of the rich and powerful will delay what needs to be done as much as possible. On top of that a vote from ‘Stoopid’ is easy to win, and it has the same weight as the vote of someone who can and will do a critical evaluation, including: facts, questions, sources, logic, perspectives, inferences, consequences, related questions, probabilities, etc.

Doesn’t Covid show that not everyone ‘s opinion should have the same weight?

What does that mean for 1 person, 1 vote?
