The ‘Deep State’ has always been there. It’s called ‘money’. Previously money hid behind politicians. With Trump, the psychopathy of ‘making money at all costs (to others), has taken it into the open. It’s in full view: we have the money, we do what we want. So yes, Trump has drained the hidden swamp by putting it in full view. Some 40% of poor people support it and obviously the 8% of rich people who benefit enormously. The remainder of the reqquired votes is made up with gerrymandered electorates.
