Nothing can demonstrate better what’s wrong with US democracy, than you being the candidate to oppose Trump.

You might get elected, if the establishment decides that a pause after Trump’s 1st term is warranted. You will predictably follow the easy road laid out for you by your establishment backers.

You will not upset the establishment. No universal healthcare, no basic income for all, advanced education only if you can afford it, no real action on climate, environment and wildlife, and last but not least: your record on race.

Joe, if you are the best alternative to Trump that the US can provide, your country is nothing but a sorry excuse for democracy.
