Many reactions to your article appear to fall into the trap of judging the simplifications, broad strokes, you make.

I read it as you raising issues, problems, viewpoints and providing us with hooks for doing our own research.

Do I agree with every characterisation and comparison you make? Certainly not. But can I use your statements, claims and logic to further develop my thinking? For sure!
