My fellow Americans,

I speak to all of you, and of course that includes you who voted for me, but especially I direct my words to you, who are against me, against your VP and against the Democratic Party and its voters. Many of you who feel like I am your enemy may not be listening to me. You may have listened to others, but not to me. You do not accept me as your President. You take what some people say about me to be the truth. But I am here. I am your President and I ask you to tell me what you want for your country. Tell me and give me a chance to work towards it. I refuse to represent only my Party. America is great because of our different views. America is great because we have Democrats and Republicans.

If you think the election was stolen, then let us talk: Why do you think that, and how should we check if this is true? Wht do others think it was fair? Let us examine the evidence. But be couragious. Do not complain if you do not examine the evidence on both sides. Do not complain if you don’t like the result. If evidence shows I was elected unfairly, then I will call for a new election.

It is not a good basis of our democracy if a portion of our population has lost confidence in our democracy, in our democratic institutions, in Congress, in our elections. The USA is not United if a portion of us takes up arms against the USA.

But let me be clear: There is no Confederation, there is only the USA. Some of you were shouting USA! USA! when you forced entry…
