One of the best ways to address the problem of extremism is to bring Critical Thinking at the core of every educational curriculum.

If children learn to analyze not just other people’s thinking and emotions, but also their own and they learn to discuss this with the goal of learning, this will not only bring about more innovation, but we will also have a little more humility regarding our political convictions and create space in our thinking so we can learn from other people’s views.

Quality Critical Thinking requires, amongst other, the integration of different points of view, humility and compassion.

These ingredients are missing in extremist viewpoints.

If Biden will be able to instill Critical Thinking at the core of American education, then America will become the world-leading country the world needs within 1 generation.
