Liberals and Intellectuals? Why not include Consevatives? After all it is Conservatives who want to conserve (it’s kind of in the name too isn’t it?) how power (financial might) is (not) distributed.
Power also corrupts Liberal politicians and democratic institutions, but unlike Conservatism, that is not their ideology.
