I don’t think Trump is interesting as a person either. As you point out the social disease that he happens to represent, however, is interesting. What is it that makes humans who are convinced that they are doing good feel so compelled to follow a person who represents human’s lowest instincts: gold plated excessive display of wealth, impunity for the law, grifting, preying on the weak, nepotism, fascism. The lower he goes the more fanatic his followers. It’s just a question of time for him to ask his followers to help him 'solve the black-latino issue’. How is this even a possibility in the richest country on earth that liberated the world from the nazis. Yet Italy, France and other countries are also moving towards fasism or autocracy away from democracy. We are trying to understand how abd why this happens. Trump and his following is a clear case in point and Trump’s actions provide insight into the minds of his followers. Mike shines a light on these minds by analyzing Trump’s actions.
